Today, Greg and I are taking two seemingly unrelated stories and explaining how the mental process that the individuals chose to take were nearly identical, but with two very different decisions that led to two very different outcomes.
We compared a recent shooting in Texas where a man killed his ex-wife, her boyfriend and then himself to the olympic gymnast Simone Biles who chose not to compete in an event due to mental health related issues.
We bring up a number of topics during the discussion including things like “ghosting,” disruption vs interruption, and how we often choose to make things about ourselves, rather than for the greater good.
